DescriptionLatigo is scenic and secluded. Seven miles up Red Dirt Road brings you to our quiet setting amid the pine and aspen forests at 9000ft elevation. With spectacular vistas of the Indian Peaks to the east, Eagle's Nest to the south and Rabbit Ears to the north, Latigo Nordic Ranch has operated as a ski touring center for 17 wonderful winters. The trails wander through open meadows, aspen glades, and pine forests. There are some great downhill runs with lots of thrills for the adventurous, and gently rolling terrain for those who what to take it easy. As you ski our 55 Km system, you will enjoy a wide ranging and varied trail network groomed for traditional classic skiing as well as exhilarating skate skiing.

Meals are available by reservation. We have a full American plan (meals, lodging, and activities included) for those who are with us for several days. When you spend the night at Latigo, you will enjoy our well appointed contemporary log cabins, sumptuous meals, and skiing right from your cabin door.

DirectionsFrom Denver:

Take I-70 west 60 miles to Exit 205 at Silverthorne. Turn right on Highway 9 and continue north for 27 miles to Kremmling.

At Kremmling go west (left) on U.S. 40 for 6 miles to Highway 134.

Turn left toward Toponas. Go 4 miles on Highway 134 to Red Dirt Road (yep, that's its name), also known as County Road 19, and turn right.

Follow the signs for 7 miles to Latigo Nordic Ranch. Travel time from the edge of Denver to Latigo is about 2 hours.

From Steamboat Springs:

Take US 40 east toward Kremmling up over Rabbit Ears Pass.
6 miles before Kremmling, approximately 45 miles from Steamboat, turn right on Highway 134 toward Toponas.
Go 4 miles on Highway 134 to Red Dirt Road (yep, that's its name), also known as County Road 19, and turn right.

Follow the signs for 7 miles to Latigo Nordic Ranch. Travel time from Steamboat Springs to Latigo is approximately 1¼ hours.

Note: It takes about 20 minutes to drive from US 40 to Latigo. Give us a call from there for updated road information.
