Description All trails were groomed this morning with our cat for skate and classic skiing. All snowshoe trails are open. We have good coverage -- spring conditions. Register online or at the touring center for the Coureur Des Bois 45 & 90 km races by Friday 3/12. Pick up CDB race numbers & goody bags Fri & Sat at SSTC. Saturday, March 13th from 10 AM - 1 PM there will be a Ski Orienteering Event at the Touring Center put on by the Rocky Mountain Orienteering Club. This is a low-key opportunity to fine tune your map reading, compass and navigation skills while on skis and is open to all -- $12 adults, $3 kids. Call us at 879-8180 for more information. Description All trails across the road have been groomed for skate and classic. Spring is here and so is spring conditions. The best skiing is before 1pm - Later in the afternoon is super soft therefore in order to keep the trails in the best shape possible, please try and ski earlier in the day; especially with dogs. Very much appreciated |

Description "Our regular schedule is to groom all trails early in the morning on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday with a classic track set. The ball field loops are groomed Tuesday through Sunday and a classic track is provided. If it is snowing when we are scheduled to groom, we will wait until the storm subsides and we will groom all of our trails again, with a classic track set. Please remember that season passes or tickets are required for use of the Nordic trails and dogs are not allowed. To obtain the most current grooming report for the Howelsen Hill Nordic Center, please call 871-7084. Have a great day and Thank you" |
