Steamboat Lake State Park Touring Center

Snow keeps falling and we keep grooming.  New snow has allowed the snow club to get the groomer out again.  All trails were freshly groomed in new snow this morning!  All trail markers have been removed because of previous warm weather but all trails are open.  You only need a park pass on your vehicle to enjoy the last groomed trails in the area (maybe in the state?)

Grooming has ended for the season.  Snow is still out there and available for ski and snowshoe.  Morning crust skiing is still pretty good.  Watch out at the creek crossings. 

New snow last night and freshly groomed trails today.  All trails were groomed for skate and classic.  Don't forget that we also have a packed snowshoe trail.  You only need a $7 day pass for entrance to the park and use of the ski trails is free.
