Schedule of events

1) Registration bib pick-up:

a. Friday 3/17 from 9 am to 5 pm at the Steamboat Ski Touring Center

b. Saturday 3/18 from 6:30 am to 7:15 am at the Steamboat Lake Visitors Center

2) If you have not previously paid or need to purchase a CORSAR card for search and rescue make sure to bring a check or cash to the Steamboat Lake Visitors Center. Credit cards can not be used at check in.

3) Start 90k- 7:30 am

4) Start 45k- 8:00am

5) CUT OFF TIMES FOR THE 90K WILL BE STRICTLY ENFORCED. THIS IS FOR THE RACERS SAFETY.

a. Feed #1, set up- 7:30 am Shut down- 9:45 am. 90k cut off time 9:00 am. That gives you 1:30 to do the first and easiest 13.5k.

b. Feed #2, set up- 8:30am shut down- 11: 45 am. 90k cut off time 11:30am. That gives you 4 hrs to do 27.5k.

c. Feed#3, set up- 9:15 am shut down- 1:30 pm. 90k cut off time 1:30 pm. That gives you 6 hrs to do 48k. If you are over the cut off you will be sent back to Columbine via snowmobile. The next section of the course includes a 1,200 ft climb and high elevation. If you are taking 1:15 to ski each 10k to this point you need to go to SLO and have a beer and a sirloin taco.

d. Feed #4, set up- 10:00 am shut down- course clear

e. Feed #5 set up- 9:15 am shutdown- 3:30pm

6) Finish- 45k awards- 12:30pm

7) Finish- 90k awards- 3:00pm

8) Buffet dinner 5-6 pm and party until the cows come home
